Lauren and John had the sweetest wedding on Saturday at Willow Pond Plantation in Monticello. The details were simple, but the emotion was overwhelming. While John watched Lauren walk down the aisle he fought back the tears, as did everyone else. From their personal vows to the choreographed first dance, the couple really focused their wedding day on their love for one another.
Lauren had both her dad and her grandfather walk her down the aisle. I love these moments Olyn captured just after they stepped out of the carraige and as they walked into the sunlight towards John.
After the ceremony, we had a few quick moments with Lauren and John before their introduction at the reception.
Lauren and John showed off their dance skills for their first dance, impressing everyone in the room. Especially when they first met it took John forever just to ASK Lauren to dance!
The cake cutting got a bit interesting, as they not once, not twice, but three times smashed cake in each others faces.
We braved the mosquitos for just a few moments to create some drama.
The night ended with a bubble farewell!
