So, on Friday I Facebooked how excited I was to be shooting Leah & Ryan’s wedding the next day. I got tons of messages asking what was up? What extravaganza was I photographing? I had to giggle every time– it wasn’t about the locations, decor or any other detail of the event, it was Leah & Ryan I was so excited about! They are such a super cool couple, they always make me laugh and they have fun wherever they go. Sounds like an awesome wedding to me!

Sexy hot mama shoes!

The always amazing Missy Gunnels did a tremendous job with the bouquet!

A few giggles and portraits before the ceremony.

Now the SECOND most important ring in Ryan’s life, his Citadel ring.

Leah cried down the aisle at the rehearsal. She cried even talking about it. I was so proud of her that she JUST managed to keep it together!

Trinity Reformed is such an awesome church for photographs! Normally, we get a lot more light through the amazing windows, but just before the ceremony a thunderstorm blew in and it was almost completely dark outside!

We had the best time with Leah and Ryan’s portraits! Just a few minutes at the church and then over to the very wet Retreat at Bradley’s Pond.

Then it was inside for the whirlwind reception!

I love this shot of Leah and her dad, with Ryan looking on in the background.
It was back outside for some portrait fun in the beautiful night air.

Back inside for the last fun events!

Sparkler farewell!
