You can’t really call Blake a Baby anymore… he is only 9 months old, but this little guy can stand all on his own and will probably start walking any day! He is incredibly strong, amazingly independent and really strong willed! His big sister better look out… she might be the “little” one soon!

Baby Hampton was another newborn we had in the studiop this week, but he came in with Mom and big brothers Braxton and Brewer. Braxton and Brewer were an absolute riot and definitely kept me on my toes! Fun families like this are the reason I am a photographer– they just make you smile!

Baby Zach had a very interesting session this week– he went from showing off his belly button and pulling up his authentic Hawaiian shirt to having a monumental struggle against his christening gown. He is such an interesting little guy and definitely shares his feelings with the world!

In between doctor’s appointments, Jenna came in for her maternity session. She is absolutely adorable and so excited about her baby girl, Scarlett! I had a blast with her session and I loved that she included her baby blanket that her deceased grandmother made for her. How much more sentimental can you get?

I think they invented the word “adorable” just for Jaime. She looks adorable, she has the cutest personality and she makes you feel like you have been friends for years after just a few minutes. Her baby girl is due in only a couple of weeks so we were able to squeeze in a last minute maternity session before little girl makes her debut!

Most newborns don’t show a lot of personality in the first two weeks. They mostly sleep and eat and its later on that you actually get to know them. Baby Avery is definitely an exception. I think this little girl’s feisty personality was evident from the moment she was born. She fights sleep so she can watch everything that is going on, she is very insistent about the way she wants to lay and she definitely lets you know if she is unhappy! We had an awesome session with Miss Avery and it was so great to see her mom and dad again– I photographed their wedding almost two years ago!

The Hayes Family shoot was less than routine! Gabe was a riot and any question I asked was answered with “For one thooooousand dollars… cash.” Big Sister Hannah gave me lessons in cool talk (since I am now old and way un-cool). So, let me holla at my baller! LOL, thanks Hannah!
