As an artist, I need time to recharge my creativity– to play, experiment and truly enjoy my craft without restrictions, responsibilities and pressure. Thanks to my dear friend, Terri, I had that chance yesterday. I had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot a beautiful wedding here in Tallahassee. A special thank you to the bride and groom, Katy and Tyler, for allowing me to share in their day!
Love the reflection of the rings on the table.

Katy’s beautiful gown:

The light at the Governor’s Inn was so beautiful!

A few quiet moments before we went outside.

Katy carried her great grandmother’s hankerchief.

Missy Gunnels did her usual– an amazing assortment of bouquets, bouts and centerpieces. I am so envious of her amazing talent!

Katy and Tyler had their first date at Andrew’s. They decided to see each other before the ceremony and what better place than Andrew’s?

Katy loves photography and she gave us so much time for portraits– we did some downtown, some at Westcott and some outside the church. It was such an awesome time and really allowed us to create some beautiful images!

Watching Terri in action was an absolute hoot! Here is an example of Terri posing her couple…

I love ceremonies at St. Paul’s Methodist Church. The light is absolutely beautiful and the blue walls have such an airy feeling.

Katy and Tyler had the most awesome favors I have ever seen– each box included desserts from their family recipes. They were absolutely adorable and incredibly yummy!

Katy and Tyler’s first dance was to a beautiful Michael Buble song, even though I had only met them you could see how perfectly it suited them.

Probably my favorite image of the day, I just love this shot of Katy dancing with her dad– you can even see their reflection in the window.
