I had a fabulous shoot and a fabulous time Saturday morning with the May Family! We drove out to Quincy for a portrait session at their family farm and it was so beautiful– great weather, great light and an absolutely great family!

At last night’s Tallahassee Professional Photographer’s Guild meeting I entered four prints into the monthly print competition. And… I won in all four categories I entered AND one of my images was chosen as the overall winner! Yea! So, here are the images from the competition:

Baby Henry was in the studio this week for his newborn portrait session and he has the cutest expressions. He was a really serious guy for his shoot, you could tell he was already working on his GQ pose… either that or he just wasn’t a big fan of his sailor suit!

Baby Penny was such a smiler yesterday at her three month portrait session! Most babies this age torment me by only smiling when the camera is put away, but Penny brought loads of grins with her! We had so much fun with her session and got lots of cute shots– some with her best friend… Miss Sock-Monkey!

Baby Blake was in the studio yesterday for his three month session. This little guy is so handsome and has the cutest little pinchable cheeks! He had a great session and modeling just zapped all his energy so he fell asleep at the end!

Ok, I think I met the most amazing teenagers in the world yesterday. The Taylor kids were absolutely phenomenal for their family session yesterday. They were fun, easy going, cooperative and get this… they LIKE each other!! How strange and wonderful is that? The entire family was so close and loving, it made my job incredibly easy and the images are wonderful!

Krista and Terri were in the studio Sunday afternoon for a maternity portrait session. They are so adorable with each other and have such a wonderful sense of humor about themselves and each other. If everyone had a good dose of that, the world would be so much better!
