I have been looking forward to Lindsay and Brandon’s wedding literally since the day she booked. She booked the first day we emailed– when she found out that someone else had asked about her date she raced across town to sign the contract. Since then, Lindsay and I traded about a million emails– wedding questions, jokes, encouragement, etc. She has really become more of a friend than a client.
Saturday started with butterflies as thunderstorms swept through the area. I hate rain on a wedding day!! Luckily, the rain cleared and we had a beautiful afternoon!
We started the day at the Governor’s Inn for Lindsay’s preparations– don’t you just love her shoes??

I loved Brandon’s face as he opened Lindsay’s gift.

A quiet moment as we waited to go upstairs.

The ceremony was held in the chapel at Trinity Methodist in downtown. The intimate space was filled with their closest friends and family, giving the room a warm feeling of love.

The last few moments Lindsay had with her dad before their big walk.

We had some fun outside the church, then in the park before heading over to the Governor’s Club.

The reception was such a blast! I think they had some of the best “wedding food” I have ever tasted! Plus, they were after a Southern girl’s heart– a make your own grits bar! Yummy!

We stole the couple outside for a few nightime portraits. My favorite time of the day!
