The Regalado Family

I didn’t think boys were supposed to get along this well!! The Regalado boys were a dream to photograph– they were so kind and loving to one another! I think my jaw might have actually dropped a few times! You can tell this is a case of brothers truly being best friends.

Mindi & Jason Engagement Portraits

We finished off a crazy week with a calm, relaxing sunset engagement portrait session in Southwood with Mindi and Jason. They are planning a fall wedding for Windmark Beach and its easy to see that their laid back personalities will carry through to their wedding plans. I was so glad we were able to do the shoot– Jason’s job with the legislature usually means that Mindi is a “session widow” throughout most of the Spring!

Mo & Joe’s Day After Portraits

March 8, 2009 – 4:59 pm

On Mo and Joe’s wedding day, the skies were unkind and the rain barred us from getting the amazing outdoor shots that we had wanted. So, we scheduled a “Day After” potrait session for Mo and Joe. We did far more than we could have ever dreamed on the wedding day– starting with elegant bridal portraits at the Southwood House, moving on to the Alumni Center, then outside the church and finishing off with sunset portraits at Doak Campbell. It was really more of an adventure than a portrait session.

Shannon & Lonnie

January 2, 2009 – 8:00 pm

You know a couple is truly happy in their relationship when they can make each other laugh without saying a word. Shannon and Lonnie are obviously very much in love and there is so much laughter in their love. It was hard to get an image without them laughing out loud! It was so great to go out to Southwood with them, just in time for their wedding on Monday!!

The Blackburn Family

June 13, 2008 – 2:26 pm

We had such an awesome family portrait session yesterday with the Blackburn family in Southwood. The weather already made us reschedule the session once, so despite the dark looking skies, we went ahead with the session. The sky threatened to storm, but we managed to get everything in before it really started to rain. The storm clouds were actually quite nice– it cooled everything off and gave us really great light!
