Alisha & Dustin

Forever and always when I think of Alisha and Dustin’s wedding, I will hear Dustin’s voice saying “Hoooly Cow!”  You also have to imagine it with an adorable southern accent to get the idea.  From the decor to Alisha’s sexy reception dress, they all got his patented reaction.

Instead of flowergirls, they had flower fairies.  Seriously, are these two not painfully cute!?

The entire day was punctuated with the vivid colors of fall.  The amazing attention to detail really made the event special.

alisha3alisha7

The ceremony ended right at sunset, so we only had a few moments of light for portraits.

As the night air cooled, the warmth of the galleria reception really made you feel like the affair was so intimate and loving.  The colored lights and warm details all gave a feeling of closeness.

Since we were cheated on the daylight portrait time, we made up for it after dark!

Back inside for a few more festivities…

Then the grand finale of fireworks over the lake!

Sheena & Cade

Olyn and I have been looking forward to Sheena & Cades’s wedding for ages!  They are the best couple– they are so much fun to be with and they are so much in love.  Everything just seemed to come together for their wedding– the hot weather finally cooled off, the new hotel opened in time and they actually ran AHEAD of schedule all day!  I hope they are having a blast in Key West, can’t wait to see them when they get back!

Sheena and Cade got ready at the brand new Hotel Duval in Tallahassee.  The hotel so matches their style– it was simple and contemporary.  I had a lot of fun with the details of the hotel– here are their rings on one of the bathroom faucets:

Since Sheena was ready so early, we got to play around in the new hotel!  How fun!

sheena13sheena27

Once we got to Goodwood, it was Cade’s turn!

sheena8

The entire day was really emotional, but almost everyone broke down for at least a moment during the ceremony.

Fun portrait time before the reception… it was so strange to be outside in the COOL air!

sheena1sheena12sheena26

The Goodwood Carriage House looked absolutely amazing for the reception!  LOVE the linens from Silver Linings!

sheena25sheena6

Sheena and Cade are so in love… just look how engrossed they are with one another!

sheena24sheena23

The band absolutely rocked the house!

sheena9sheena21sheena10

Cade fed Sheena cake first and was very sweet.  Sheena was… less than sweet…

We snuck outside for a little romantic time…

The night ended with a farewell into an awesome Rolls Royce convertible… a departure with style!

Kendall & Bryce

Kendall and Bryce did not have a typical wedding by any means.  From the colors, the decor, the music, and the entire vibe of the event it was untraditional.  It had one unifying focus– FUN.  While there were a few serious moments, they all seemed to be cut short by one comedic coincidence or another.   It seemed like Mother Nature was also in on the color scheme, giving them THREE different rainbows throughout the day!

The amazing shoes, with their theme of pink and black!

kendall2

The bride’s awesome bouquet by Missy Gunnels Flowers.

kendall3

Right as Kendall started getting dressed a storm blew in, but we still had a bit of window light.

kendall1

It was still raining as Kendall and Bryce saw each other for the first time, so we were stuck on the porch.  I so love Bryce’s face as he sees his bride!

kendall10

Making the best of it, the porch became the backdrop for a lot of their portraits together.  Seriously, how cute are they!?

kendall15kendall14kendall13

We did have a few pauses in the showers, but just as the ceremony began, it started sprinking again.  All the serious parts of the ceremony were punctuated with thunder, which cracked everyone up, including Kendall and her dad!

kendall12kendall9

This wedding had some of the cutest kids I have ever seen!  How much more adorable can you get?

kendall11kendall16

Instead of walking back up the aisle, Kendall, Bryce and the bridal party literally danced the entire way!
kendall8

Their reception was one non-stop dance party.  This was not a ballroom affair, there was some serious booty shakin going on!

kendall21kendall19kendall6kendall5

Kendall has to be the first bride we have ever had who managed to throw the bouquet without ever letting go of her drink!

kendall7

The pink details were everywhere throughout the day, from the flowers to the inside of the cake.  With all the colored lighting, the reception almost had a South Beach feel to it.

kendall20kendall17kendall22

The night ended as Kendall and Bryce ran through the gauntlet of sparklers.

Leah & Ryan

So, on Friday I Facebooked how excited I was to be shooting Leah & Ryan’s wedding the next day.  I got tons of messages asking what was up?  What extravaganza was I photographing?  I had to giggle every time– it wasn’t about the locations, decor or any other detail of the event, it was Leah & Ryan I was so excited about!  They are such a super cool couple, they always make me laugh and they have fun wherever they go.  Sounds like an awesome wedding to me!

leahryan12

Sexy hot mama shoes!

The always amazing Missy Gunnels did a tremendous job with the bouquet!

A few giggles and portraits before the ceremony.

Now the SECOND most important ring in Ryan’s life, his Citadel ring.

leahryan2

Leah cried down the aisle at the rehearsal.  She cried even talking about it.  I was so proud of her that she JUST managed to keep it together!
leahryan1

Trinity Reformed is such an awesome church for photographs!  Normally, we get a lot more light through the amazing windows, but just before the ceremony a thunderstorm blew in and it was almost completely dark outside!leahryan10leahryan8leahryan9leahryan19

We had the best time with Leah and Ryan’s portraits!  Just a few minutes at the church and then over to the very wet Retreat at Bradley’s Pond.leahryan18

Then it was inside for the whirlwind reception!

Kelly & Randy

Kelly & Randy’s Labor Day Weekend wedding was such a celebration of details!  I think Kelly planned that event down to the very tiniest detail!  From the lottery ticket favors to the cupcake wedding cake, it was fun, whimsical and very laid back.

kellyrandyw7

Bella Flora did a great job with all the flowers!  I just love the punch of color from all the bouquets and bouts!kellyrandyw2kellyrandy14kellyrandyw1

Although it was a tad toasty at Maclay Gardens, the ceremony was so incredibly sweet and emotional.kellyrandy13kellyrandyw11kellyrandyw5

I love this series Olyn took of Kelly and Randy playing around at Goodwood!  How sweet!

The food was definitely one of the highlights of the day!  Klassic Katering always does a great job, but this was just phenomenal!!

Jordan & Nick

We have really been looking forward to Jordan and Nick’s wedding for months.  They are such an adorable couple and we always have the best time with them!  Jordan can also keep up with Olyn’s warped sense of humor, so they are a riot together!  The day started off with a bit of rain, but by ceremony time it was sunny and mild outside.  Yes, mild in Tallahassee in July!  It was glorious!

jor1

Jordan and Nick broke from tradition and chose to see each other before the ceremony.  Trying to still give her a surprise, we had Nick come from the opposite direction than what Jordan expected.

jor3

We then had a few moments alone for their portraits.

jor17jor16

It has been so hard keeping Jordan’s awesome bridal shoot under wraps!  We took the beautiful bride over to Shiloh Farm a few weeks ago and the results are stunning!
jor19jor20

Kelly Trotman with Bella Flora did an awesome job with Jordan’s flowers!

jor18

Just before the ceremony, Olyn spent the last few moments with Jordan and her dad.

jor7jor15jor14jor4

While I photographed the recessional, Olyn captured this moment of Jordan and Nick in their limo.

jor6

jor9

The reception kicked off immediately with lots of great food and music.  I loved Jordan and Nick’s emotional first dance.

jor5jor12

Tiki did an amazing job with the cake!

jor13

Awwww young love.

jor10

Jordan and Nick had the sweetest toast from Nick’s dad.

jor11

Jordan and Nick had really great examples with both their parents marriages, it was so sweet to see how much in love they still are!
jor8

The night ended with a sparkler farewell and a great kiss!

Lorie and Jonathon

Lori and Jonathon had such a unique, personal wedding on Saturday.  To say we had fun is a total understatement!  We love Lorie and Jonathon and we were lucky enough to be joined by our good friend Mandy of Mayfield Photography. It was such an awesome way to wrap up wedding season!

Lorie and the girls got ready at the fabulous Tallahassee Center.  Lorie’s bouquet had the sorority pins of all her bridesmaids– how cool!

loriejon1loriejon10loriejon16loriejon15

Then they headed by trolley to Lorie’s sorority house, Alpha Chi Omega, for the ceremony.  I love this series with Lorie in the entrance of the house.

loriejon14

We had a few short minutes with Jonathon before the ceremony started.

loriejon13

The flowergirls escorted the 14 month old ringbearer down the aisle, but no one held onto him, so he ran back up the aisle to see his Aunt Lorie!!

loriejon12loriejon2loriejon9

After the ceremony we had just a little bit of time at the sorority house, so we played in the entrance and on the front porch– never too far from the air conditioning!

loriejon17loriejon11

Then we headed over to Westcott for a bit of fun with the bridal party.

loriejon22

We then jumped back on the trolley and headed over to the University Center Club for the reception.

loriejon8loriejon20

I have to say this was a reception like no other– Lorie and Jonathon’s first dance rivaled anything you would see on Dancing With The Stars– it was unbelievable!!loriejon21loriejon7loriejon6

I thought this was the sweetest image when I saw it in Olyn’s camera– this is Lorie and Jonathon holding hands during dinner.

loriejon5

The bride and groom were not the only ones showing off their dance moves– the flowergirl could hold her own as well!

loriejon4

As the night ended, we snuck off to the stadium for some portraits with Lorie in her fabulous reception dress.loriejon3
